Source 1 Solutions Honors Military and First Responders and Hosts ASD Awareness Day at Shriners Clearwater Elite Invitational

CLEARWATER, Fla., (February 13, 2026) — This coming weekend, Source 1 Solutions will host military, first responders, and individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at the Heroes Hangout Tent at the Shriners Children’s Hospital Clearwater Invitational for the second time since 2024. This event, held every February to open the college softball season, features 16 top-tier collegiate teams playing 40 games over the weekend.

The Heroes Hangout Tent, located at field three, will be open to active military members, veterans, and first responders with a valid ID on Friday February 13, from 11:30 AM-8:30 PM and Saturday February 14, from 11:00 AM-4:30 PM on a first-come, first-served basis at the Eddie C. Moore Complex in Clearwater, Florida. As a part of this VIP experience, food and beverages will be included, along with front-row seating for all invitees and their families to enjoy the games that Field three has to offer.

In addition to hosting military and first responders at the Heroes hangout Tent, Source 1 will host an ASD Awareness Day on Saturday, the 14th, in which children, their families, and school staff who experience ASD are also invited to enjoy the Clearwater Elite Invitational. Due to the sensory sensitivities that people diagnosed with ASD may experience, sporting events have proven to be difficult for these individuals to enjoy. With this being kept in mind, the Heroes Hangout Tent will not only host military and first responders, but also

individuals with ASD, who will be accompanied by ASD-specialized instructors and staff as a dedicated safe space.

“When we were presented with the opportunity to host and connect with veterans, first responders, and those who are diagnosed with ASD for an event that uplifts women in sports for the second time, the answer was clear,” said fourth-generation veteran, father of two, and CEO of Source 1 Solutions, Robert Hessel. “As a father of two young girls who are both on the spectrum, hosting an ASD Awareness Day holds personal importance to me that I feel must be highlighted. Supporting the men and women in uniform who risk their lives and individuals on the spectrum falls in line with our mission and core values.”

By establishing the Heroes Hangout Tent, we reinforce our dedication to those who serve the public both at home and abroad, and to the individuals in our community who experience ASD. This sponsorship allows us to bridge the gap between elite collegiate athletics and community connection, providing a premier vantage point for the weekend’s top matchups. At Source 1 Solutions, we remain focused on our mission to protect and empower, whether through global technical infrastructure or by providing a space for our local heroes to connect and recharge, and a safe space for people diagnosed with ASD to feel supported.
